Please join us in welcoming international Korean artist, Seokki Lee on Fri., Feb. 28 for an opening reception from 6-8 pm. Mr. Lee is bringing traditional Korean culture to UIW with his use of watercolor paintings. He says, "I spent two years preparing for this exhibition, focusing on showcasing traditional Korean clothing, hanbok, and moon jars to highlight the beauty of Korea, especially in contrast to materialistic culture. [...] Korean beauty values harmony over decoration, with simplicity and refinement that resonate with nature and a quiet, unmeasured balance."
