Dr. Jeanette Wong-Powell and Dr. Francis Parr led optometry students to several cities in Guatemala to embrace the opportunity to provide vision and disease screenings to  underserved populations at various clinics. During this international experiential learning program, optometry students became more confident, compassionate and independent leaders. The service mission program took place from May 16 - 23, 2026.
