Jon has worked at the University of the Incarnate Word for over six years. Prior to joining the Office of Teaching, Learning, and Technology in 2022, he served as the Technical Specialist for the School of Physical Therapy. Throughout his time at UIW, Jon has supported educators across multiple levels of education and in a wide range of instructional and technical contexts.

His work has included hardware and software troubleshooting, instructional technology support, and the development of technical solutions that improve teaching and learning. He is known for providing consistent, dependable support to the UIW community. In his current role as LMS Administrator, Jon develops custom integrations and helps faculty and staff make effective use of Canvas and related tools.

Jon is an alumnus of Texas Woman’s University, where he studied Computer Science and Informatics. He also holds a Master of Education in Learning, Design, and Technology from Arizona State University.
