Each year, the United Nations declares an International Day of Peace observed around the world on September 21. The UN General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace through observing 24 hours of non-violence and ceasefire. 

Join us in Our Lady's Chapel as we commemorate the 25th anniversary of the United Nations General Assembly’s adoption of the Declaration and Programme of Action on a Culture of Peace. This year's theme is "Cultivating a Culture of Peace."
