The University of the Incarnate Word's Health Profession Program team are currently developing an exciting new faculty-led nursing program designed for students from its CHARISM partner institutions. Hosted at the UIW Campus León, Mexico, this unique program will offer forty (40) nursing students, from all participating institutions, a transformative opportunity to engage directly with the local community through hands-on service. Alongside their clinical and community health experiences, participants will dive deep into the rich tapestry of Mexican culture, history, and cuisine.

This program will complement a course offered during the spring 2027 semester. The tentative dates for this program is May 9-15, 2027. More information on the course title, application details, and program specifics will be available in mid-to-late fall 2026.
