Dr. Erlinda Lopez-Rodriguez, Liaison of Health Profession Interprofessional Initiatives, led a dedicated group of 23 students from various health profession programs, along with 8 faculty members, 2 CCVI sisters, and 2 support staff from the ECCS. The mission trip took place from August 31 to September 7, 2024 in Oaxaca, Mexico. UIW has a long and rich history of participating with the non-profit organization Quijotes of San Antonio. This organization conducts an annual medical mission trip every September in Oaxaca, where participants partner with local medical professionals to provide care to over 2,500 patients. We are proud of the commitment and dedication of our students and faculty in serving global communities.
