Dr. Erlinda Lopez-Rodriguez, Liaison of Health Profession Interprofessional Initiatives, will be leading a dedicated group of 23 students from various health profession programs, along with 9 faculty members, 2 CCVI sisters, and 1 support staff from the ECCS. The mission trip will take place from August 30 to September 6, 2025 in Oaxaca, Mexico. UIW has a long and rich history of participating with the non-profit organization Quijotes of San Antonio. This organization conducts an annual medical mission trip every September in Oaxaca, where participants partner with local medical professionals to provide care to over 2,500 patients. We are proud of the commitment and dedication of our students and faculty in serving our global community.
