UIW's Ettling Center for Civic Leadership and Sustainability, Rosenberg School of Optometry, and the San Antonio Filipino American Chamber of Commerce (SAFACC) are collaborating on their efforts to visit Bukidnon, Philippines, where they will provide essential healthcare services to underserved indigenous groups. The team will include five recent Rosenberg School of Optometry (RSO) graduates and two UIW optometrists, Dr.  Nekima Willams and Dr. Adrienne Ari, who will ensure vital medical care reaches those in remote communities. This service mission program is a reflection of UIW's mission "to educate men and women who will become concerned and enlightened citizens within the global community." 

This program is not related to an academic course and is no longer accepting applications.
