Dr. Ari Adrienne, Clinical Assistant Professor, RSO, led 20 optometry students to Strasbourg, France and Heidelberg, Germany, from May 16 - 27, 2026. The faculty-led program complemented the course titled Legal Aspects & Public Health Optometry (Optometry 7329) while visiting important museums and facilities related to the practice of optometry. Since 2017, over 250 optometry students have participated in this unique study abroad program, as UIW's Rosenberg School of Optometry is the only optometry school in the nation to offer a study abroad compoenent within the curriculum.
